Darent Valley Community Church is involved in serving the community of Eynsford, Farningham and other villages along the Darent Valley. We also support people further afield, in projects working around the world.
TORY GORDON
Tory works in Yangon in Myanmar. She works with street children providing food and shelter, and teaching them about Jesus. She shares her home with some of these children and it is called “The Joy Centre”. We are praying that she will find a permanent home for this project.
HOSPICES OF HOPE
Hospices of Hope was founded by Graham Perrolls in 1991 to provide terminal care for people in Romania. Over the years the organisation has developed and has trained people to work in this field and now provides hospice care not only in Romania but also in Serbia and Moldova.
DAVID KERETO
David heads up the Maasai Evangelistic Association and works amongst the Maasai people of Kenya. He provides schools and healthcare and plants churches in the Narok area of Kenya. Many of our congregation sponsor children to attend these schools.
SEVENOAKS AREA YOUTH TRUST
Sevenoaks Area Youth Trust seeks to come alongside and support young people showing them God’s love and care. They undertake detached youth work in parks and streets in and around Sevenoaks as well as providing a range of clubs in local schools and in a Youth Café at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks.
MARTIN CHAPMAN
Martin works for a mission called Jesus for Europe who’s goal is to equip Christians and churches in the joy of reaching out in evangelism and for this to become a lifestyle.
